President/founder of Spirit of Joy Ministries, Inc.

Dr. Joy Davis is ordained and licensed and serves as
a missionary, teacher and preacher. She also serves on staff with CRU- Campus Crusade for Christ, Intl. Cru City Orlando-Neighbors. She is an International Adjunct Professor for ILU Nairobi, ACTS Lagos, and ILU Cameroon. She has visited and ministered on 5 of the 7 Continents. She is the President/founder of Spirit of Joy Ministries, Inc. www.spiritofjoyministries.org, a Community Outreach Organization that meets sustainable needs of the disadvantaged in the Community. Dr. Davis has over thirty-five years experience in the area of Missions, New Members, Evangelism, Mentoring and Coaching, Christian Education, and Discipleship, and Leadership.

She is a published author of Developing Disciples of Victory, a handbook on discipleship and new members in the local church. In 1999, Dr. Joy received her Master of Arts in Christian Education from Ashland Theological Seminary, (ATS) Ashland, Ohio, and in 2002 she received a Master of Divinity. She earned a Doctor of Ministry in 2007 from ATS. Her undergraduate work at Wayne State University earned her a BA in Mass Communication in 1984.

She is a true missionary and a National and International speaker. She has organized two tours to the Holy Land. Her life reflects the scripture Isa 6:8 “Also, I heard the voice of the Lord, saying, whom shall I send, and who will go for us? Then said I, here am I; send me.” Some of her travels include Nairobi, Kenya, Lusaka, Zambia, Durban, South Africa, Monrovia, Liberia, and June 2014 a Pastors Conference in Kigali, Rwanda. The highlight of her travels will always be her pilgrimage to the Holy Land. Dr. Joy conducted training for youth workers in Addis Ababa, Ethiopia, Kitty Georgetown, Guyana, and Khulna, Bangladesh. Her most recent trip to Ethiopia was to help promote the awareness of the need to help HIV children at an Orphanage in Addis Ababa, Ethiopia. She has partnered with Caped Orphanage in Port-au-Prince, Haiti where she raised over $3,000.00 to help build bunk beds for children sleeping on the floor and is now working on giving them life straws for water filters.

Dr. Joy was born and raised in Detroit, Michigan and now lives in Orlando Fl. She is a Vietnam Era Veteran of the US Army.

Titiloye Ashamu is the Leader/Facilitator of Flourishing Hearts. She is passionate about leadership training and thrives on encouraging and equipping women to realize their values and fulfil their God given dream. She speaks at Women’s events, know for her creative gifting and runs the Women’s ministry at Logos Christian Fellowship (LCF).
